It's that time of the year again, and shoppers are gearing up, making it the perfect time for you to gear up too, so here are some stats and insights from a survey by Shopkicks that surveyed 6000+ U.S. Consumers, to supercharge your Holiday campaigns!
⏳Early Bird Sentiment
According to the survey, 38% of the respondents plan to start their holiday shopping before Halloween and 44% before Thanksgiving!
What you can do: Making now the perfect time to start your campaigns and capitalize on the early traffic as nearly 70% of the consumers plan to spread out their purchases and start way before the holiday, so ensure your pre-holiday campaigns are just as good, if not better than your holiday campaigns.
💰Discounts matter more now
Discounts and rewards have always been a winner, but they matter more than ever as 77% of people are on a tight budget (No thanks to inflation!).
79% and 81% of them confirm sales and promotions and rewards/coupons respectively will drive their purchases.
What you can do: Giveaway a little more with bigger discounts and better rewards, and combine every purchase to loyalty rewards and future benefits, to expand your retention list.
📦 Pure Play Rage
A whopping 77% of consumers are certain they want to shop from Pure Play sites like Amazon and Etsy.
What you can do: Try third-party marketplaces if you already don’t, especially considering Ad rates are at an all-time high, and Google & Apple are updating privacy policies, making our lives harder.
P.S. Right now is the best time to start and gain momentum with optimized pages by the time it would matter.

With 56% of respondents eyeing “big deal days” for their purchases, it’s an easy way to reach an already warmed-up audience.
